Pinelog Ltd Website Blog – 28 November 2013
Following the site set up works last week, we are commencing with the foundation excavations on 2nd December. On the morning of the 2nd our Groundworks Subcontractor, KM Construction (North Wales) Ltd will be delivering their plant to site. This will include a medium sized excavator, a sit-on dumper truck and a lock up store.
The foundation excavation works will take us up to the Christmas Break on 20th December.
Excavated material will be deposited elsewhere around the site for possible use in future landscaping works, this will minimise the movement of lorries on and off site during this period.
After Christmas we will then be commencing the floor slab installation. We will inform you of further progress and site news as the works progress over the next few weeks and will endeavour to minimise any disruption.
We are pleased to announce work will commence on the new build swimming pool and leisure facilities at Silver Bay Holiday Park on Monday 11th November 2013.
To deliver the project efficiently and with minimal disruption to neighbours and visitors, the principal contractor Pinelog have developed a programme of works from the start date through to completion which is scheduled for August 2014, detailing the operations to be carried out on site week by week.
The first week will be a low key start to the project where the contractor will establish a secure self-contained compound to provide a safe working area within the holiday park. Outside the holiday park Pinelog will carry out a photographic condition and dilapidation survey of the road surface, wall and hedgerow along which access to the holiday park is required.
During week 2 we will see the commencement of excavation work in the ground to form the foundations and swimming pool. Excavated material will be re-deposited on site to eliminate off-site disposal by HGV’S.
We will keep you informed of developments as they happen and will hopefully have some photographs soon of the work in progress.
